Maciej Łobos
He began his piano studies at the age of six, continuing them at the Academy of Music in Łódź in the piano class of Dr. hab. Tomasz Bartoszek. He completed his education at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków under the guidance of Prof. Olga Łazarska, earning a Master's degree. Additionally, the pianist has worked with professors such as Andrzej Jasiński, Adam Wibrowski, and Michał Szczepański.
He is a participant in many international music masterclasses and a first-prize laureate at the International Art Media Contest "Word Art Games". Maciej Łobos excels not only in solo projects, as his accompaniment in a duo with Łukasz Kózka secured the pair a special prize at the 7th Inter-University Chamber Music Competition for Instrumental and Vocal Duos in Warsaw. During the 17th edition of the "Bieszczady Without Borders" Forum, he received the title of "Chamber Musician of the Forum" while collaborating with Prof. Dr. hab. Urszula Kryger. In 2022, he became a scholarship holder of the Institute of Music and Dance in Warsaw. In 2024, he received the 3rd prize and a special prize for the best performance of a song by Witold Friemann at the Witold Friemann National Chamber Music Competition in Rzeszów. His daily life also includes regular collaboration with cultural institutions and expanding his professional competencies by working for the Ludwig van Beethoven Silesian Festival.
